Extreme Flight Practice
Times
like these demand extreme flight practice. So much wind, Tube of Fur's
ears flopped back. Her plane could not lift off. And the mountains did
not have enough snow. Several Austrian hikers asked me what's going to
happen now to the country of my birth, to the Paris Accords, to climate
change. I tried to sing, to ask, "what did you hear, my blue-eyed son?"
But the wind blew my words away. The wind blew my heart away. 💔 And so we wept on a mountainside.

Tootsie, more flight practice and you will be able to make your own way across the North Sea to Scotland.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, you need to take care of Mom and make sure she gets lots of licks and kisses.
Toodle pip!
Your loving doggy godson Bertie.
We are weeping with you, too. It's sad and scary time.
ReplyDeleteTootsie, be gentle with your mom. These are difficult and scary times. Tell her to keep singing Bob Dylan Songs.

Take good care of your mom, Tootsie. We're a little bit afraid too. Purrs
