"I am a little dog and walking is so healthy for me! When my master takes me on a walk, I am often very saddened and feel directly affected by what my fellow doggies, believe it or not, leave on the street. Masters and mistresses turn a blind eye and leave in no time. They don't want to see the Robidog, they'd rather go their way. If masters, mistresses, or children fail to see such poopy heaps, then they must be blind. If you're clean and fit, you just take the brown heaps with you! I will spell it out: we want clean streets and paths! The little dog wishes you keep them clean."
The Robidog is a Swiss poopy bag dispenser. Here's a picture of the standard model located right next to the Leserbrief sign:
Robidog is a Swiss company based out of Zeiningen, just east of the city of Basel. They offer a wotten waven array of poopy bag dispensers; check out their catalog!
What a great thing for all doggy poop! I hate it when someone doesn't clean up after there furry friend. It all goes with the territory! Love the sign!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to have these around for people to use. We wish more people would clean up after their pups.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
That's an excellent sign! Always gotta pick up da poopies!
ReplyDeleteRA
They have the right idea. Lots of places say to clean up after your dog, but they don't give you any way to dispose of what you clean up.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Unfortunately, here even with bags and dispensers provided, people STILL don't clean up!

Great sign -- but I'm sad to hear it's a problem in Switzerland too. It's definitely a problem here. It frustrates us because dogs would be allowed in more places if their moms and dads would be responsible and pick up after them!
ReplyDeleteI tagged you in my last blog post. I don't know if you've been tagged yet, but I thought you might want to play.
Thank you, Garth! I'm always happy to play! I have also been tagged by Nola, so I'll probably do a special "tag post"!
DeleteWhat a good sign! Thanks for the translation!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I have come over from Oskar. I love your punny pics. Right up my street. I read your deconstructing Descartres post. Thought it was brill. xox
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like the Descartes post. Mom helped a lot with that one :)
DeleteIt is disheartening to see this problem is all over the world. I always carry extra bags to kind of shame people to pick up. ". Oh do you need a bag". Then had it to them. Come on people , this should not be happening as much as it is. It is all apart of the. Duties of being a responsible owner.
DeleteTHAT is super!!! ALL Peeps should pick up our poops!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen we have to poop, they have to scoop!
DeleteHey we hopped over from PBU. It's nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Ruthie
Pee.s. I'm a hot dog too!
Nice to meet you, too! Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteI truly hate when people dont pick up, it happens in the city as well. Even on the streets of NYC and it makes a bad name for dog owners. That sign is very nice we need some of those here, though I have seen people not pick up right by the garbage can.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. We have about two dog bins in our town, we need some of these!
ReplyDeleteHi Tootsie! I came over to meet you from PBU. It was fun reading about you and I thought your funnies were.....funny! I liked the sign too, every one should pick up that mess and not leave it laying around.
ReplyDeleteI looked back through your blog and enjoyed reading about you and your adventures.
