Nuova Passeggiata sul Lago di Lugano

A new scenic trail is currently under construction along the western shore of Lake Lugano. On a Sunday afternoon in late January, I went to check on its status.

The trail will connect the Swiss lakefront communities of Agno and Magliaso.

It will run right along the lakeshore and will parallel the Flippie railway line.

It will be open to dogs, pedestrians, and bicycles.

It will offer wotten-waven views of Lake Lugano and the mountains all around it. It will be open all year around, even when it snows.

I can't wait to walk the full length of the trail!

  8. It looks pawsome! But aren't you chilly? Now for cameras, you can't beat Nikon for quality and user-friendliness. But iPhones (what all my pics used to be taken with) is good quality and very portable

  9. Wow it looks like fun, but cold fun. About our little soldier friend mom is not sure if he tastes like PB but we sure like chewing him so maybe. He is sturdy and stands up to even Bob and Norbert's chewing
