Mom first started reading Joey & Maggie's blog when she learned that I might come into her life. She learned about all the low-down things, including that dachshunds love to burrow (um, duh).
Many readers will know that Joey & Maggie were the long-time hosts of this wonderful doxie blog and that young Rowdy joined the blog after dear Maggie passed away.
Many of our low-down friends, such as Lovable Lily, have already left comments. Please head on over to pay your respects to fine Joey, a little low-down guy who loved to wait for dinner in the bathtub and never let his human dad out of sight.
Rest in peace, dear Joey. We miss you.
Love,
Tootsie,
Tootsie's Mom,
and Dachshund Daddy
We are sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Hugs. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteWe will always remember Joey! His blog was one of the first ones we visited.
ReplyDeleteHey Thanks so much Tootsie and family - this is really special for us. You all have been so sweet to us, sending sweet little love notes with the passing of their Dad's Dad, and now this for sweet little Joey. All of this has meant so much, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are so kind.
ReplyDeleteThat was a beautiful tribute to our furend Joey! Such a special little man. He will be missed.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
Sorry to hear about your friend. We will say a little prayer for his family.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Thanks, Tootsie and Renee, for writing about our buddy. Joey was a very, very good dog. He educated so many about the special gifts of the long dogs, and endeared himself and all doxies to his friends and readers. Peace.
ReplyDeleteWe are so very much SORRY to hear this sad news.
ReplyDeleteThat makes us very sad...even though we didn't know Joey. We know his family will miss him terribly.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Awww....how heartbreaking for them. I know Rowdy will proudly carry the torch in Joey's honor.
